Lubelska mine project update

Based on research and calculation results of their mining consultants IMC Montan (Germany) Lubel Coal Company has revised and updated Lubeska mine project designed in 2009. Updated project has incorporated newest coal mining technology changes applying mechanized plough complexes of Caterpillar (Bucyrus). Another crucial change in the project has been comprehension of Lubelska 3 coal field. The update resulted in mine capacity growth up to 8 Mt ROM coal per year and mine life extension to 51 years. In comparison with 2009 project future mine NPV has increased by 162% (on comparable basis) up to 2534 m USD.
